What is the HansTools FTK Series?
The FTK Series consists of six tool assortments supplied in fitted EVA foam inserts. FTK-1 through FTK-6 contain between 16 and 103 pieces, with different combinations of maintenance tools, sockets, wrenches, keys and bits.
What is the difference between FTK-1–FTK-6?
FTK-1 contains general maintenance hand tools. FTK-2 focuses on 1/2″ drive sockets. FTK-3 combines 1/4″ drive sockets with wrenches, keys and bits. FTK-4 focuses on wrenches and long bits, with wheel impact sockets. FTK-5 combines sockets and bit sockets. FTK-6 combines 1/4″ and 3/8″ drive socket tools.
How does the EVA foam help with tool organization?
Each tool has a fitted position in the foam. The contrasting black-and-green layers make empty positions easier to identify during tool checks and help users return tools to their designated locations.
What size are the FTK foam inserts?
The FTK brochure lists dimensions of 568 × 272 × 32 mm. Confirm the dimensions of the selected model and the usable space inside your drawer before ordering.
Can FTK sets fit tool trolleys from other brands?
Fit depends on the usable internal drawer dimensions and clearance. Compare these measurements with the selected FTK insert rather than relying on the external size of the trolley.
Is the 9943 tool trolley included with an FTK set?
The brochure lists the FTK sets and the 9943 trolley as separate items. Specify both items in your quotation request if you require a complete trolley-and-tools package.
Can all sockets in the FTK Series be used with an impact wrench?
No. Use only sockets and accessories specifically designated for impact operation. The FTK-4 assortment includes wheel impact sockets; the presence of these sockets does not make the other tools in the series suitable for impact use.
