The 84800 Torque Limiting Impact Extension Bar is a 1/2″ drive extension designed to control torque when using a pneumatic impact wrench on wheel nuts and other critical fasteners. Each bar flexes at a preset torque value so the tool stops adding force once the target torque is reached, helping reduce over-tightening and stud damage.
All models are 200 mm (8″) long for comfortable access to wheel nuts and tight spaces. The extension bars are manufactured from Chromium-Molybdenum alloy steel (Cr-Mo), providing high tensile strength and good resistance to impact, heat and wear in professional workshop use.
The 84800 series is color-coded by torque rating for quick identification during wheel service. Torque values range from 90 N·m to 200 N·m (65–150 ft-lbs), covering the most common passenger car and light commercial vehicle wheel nut specifications.
Each bar is designed to fit standard 1/2″ drive impact sockets and complies with DIN 3121 / ISO 1174 drive standards.
