Removing crankshaft pulleys
- Extracting timing gears, flywheels, or harmonic balancers
- Handling tight clearances where 2 jaws fit better than 3

The two jaws grip the part (pulley or gear) from behind.
- A central forcing screw presses against the shaft or center hole.
- As you tighten the screw, it evenly pulls the part off the shaft.
