Q1: How do I choose between the OSA-30 and OSA-120 hole saw arbors?
A: The choice is determined by your hole saw diameter:
- Choose OSA-30 for hole saws from 14 mm to 30 mm (9/16″ to 1-3/16″), which utilize a 1/2″-20 UNF thread.
- Choose OSA-120 for hole saws from 32 mm to 210 mm (1-1/4″ to 8-1/4″), which require a 5/8″-18 UNF thread and dual drive locking pins to handle higher rotational torque.
Q2: Why are drive pins necessary on the OSA-120 arbor for saws 32mm and larger?
