It combines a high-precision digital processor console with a specialized set of SCM440 magnetic adaptors, providing an all-in-one workstation for testing torque tools from 1/4″ up to 1″ drive.
Q2: Why does the DS Series machine include magnetic adaptors?
A: When testing multiple drive sizes on a calibration station, conventional non-magnetic step adaptors can introduce unwanted runout, tilt, or fall out during the shock of a click-wrench release. The DS Series magnetic torque calibration adaptors use embedded neodymium magnets in their base flange to hold the adaptor firmly flush against the transducer face, ensuring zero axial deflection and accurate torque transmission.
Q3: Can the DS Series machine test both click-type and digital torque wrenches?
A: Yes. The DS Series features three operational modes: First Peak for capturing the exact break point of mechanical click wrenches, Peak Hold for recording maximum load, and Track Mode for displaying real-time live readings of dial, beam, and digital torque tools.
