Feature
- Does the extendable mechanism weaken the tool? No. Hans uses a heavy-duty locking collar and thick-walled Cr-V tubing for the telescoping sections. This tool is rated for professional torque levels even at full extension.
- Why is 72 teeth better for a 3/8″ drive? Modern vehicle engines are more compact. The 72-tooth gear allows you to tighten bolts even when the ratchet handle can only move a few centimeters.
- Is the “GQ” handle resistant to shop chemicals? Yes, the GQ series features a dual-compound grip designed to resist degradation from gasoline, diesel, brake fluid, and most common workshop lubricants.
- Can I use a “cheater bar” on this ratchet? It is not recommended. The extendable feature is designed to provide the maximum safe leverage for the 3/8″ drive anvil. If more torque is needed, a 1/2″ drive breaker bar should be used.
